Had an awesome meal here with the BBQ Feast. Easily feed six people and some. Great variety and quality. The Roasted Chicken was some of the best I've had. Ribs and Brisket were decent too. Huge number of sides from slaw, beans, and fries. Can't got wrong with this for a large group. Inside is very cozy, large, and warm. Staffs were also very friendly and fun.

Have been going about once a month now for some time. Be warned you shouldn't eat this great food on a regular basses as it will most likely give you a heart attack over time. But if you want to take the family out for a treat this is a great choice. I have never had a bad meal and service is mostly excellent. Price seem high, but they really are not to bad, no more than the others. Stay with the pork and Beef, The chicken is ok, but its not what they are best at. Look for Coupons, or if you like sign up for the rewards program, can save you $$ Enjoy

Famous Dave's is a decent BBQ joint. The food is always solid and tasty. It is a bit pricey, however, if you get the "feasts" you won't be disappointed with the portion size! My husband decided to get 9 ribs on his own so my daughter and I split the feast for two. Man oh man!! LOTS of food!! Choices of meat, sides, corn and muffins! We ended up with a lot of left overs and didn't have to go out for lunch the next day! The waitress was excellent. Fast. Attentive to our needs and checked in with us a number of times. Real friendly! The restaurant was clean and had the typical Dave's paraphernalia scattered and hanging about. Is it the BEST bbq joint? Honestly, no. I've been to better bbq places, but, it is certainly one you can be satisfied with and walk away satiated. And the staff were wonderful. That alone makes it worth it.

Dave's is definitely consistent in their offering of both restaurant style and ambiance as well as the quality of food. While I am a huge bbq fan, when there are limited choices to choose from, Dave's almost always rises to the "let's go there" recommendation because I know what I am going to get. The portions are generous, the food is done well and the menu has a large variety of options to choose from. We shared a rib platter and a burnt end platter. Between these two meet dishes, it came with four sides and cornbread. They do a great job on their Mac n cheese side and Wilbur beans. The fries are standard steak fries and the coleslaw is ok. The service the night we were there was great. I unfortunately don't remember our waitresses name, but she was lively, energetic and laughing. Nice to have a happy server. A few things were forgotten, but quickly addressed. I would definitely come back again.

Famous Dave's is a chain food restaurant. That being said, they specialize in standards. I've eaten at many of their restaurants and everyone is the same. That's what makes them last. Repeatability is the key to success. They have been able to repeat the service and food at every store. Famous Dave's has a piece of Chicago, Austin and Kansas City all on their menu. You can't go wrong if you want barbecue. The staff is cool here, they're attentive and nice.
